an ode to Aaron
so needed some amusement last night. Luckily "the American President" was on sale at Best Buy. It had been years since I had seen it and until recently had forgotten it was written by Aaron Sorkin.
holy crap, I was laughing for hours. not so much at the movie (although there were, of course, funny moments) but more at how much Aaron stole from this movie to make TWW!
Actors:
Martin Sheen, Anna Deavere Smith, Joshua Malina, Nina Siemaszko,
Characters:
Agent Cooper (becomes Coop who is driving the car in ITSOTG), Governor Stackhouse (Senator Stackhouse), etc.
And basically Michael J. Fox's character morphed into Josh Lyman.
Of course there were other moments that made me laugh. Can't remember them all.
Counting down the days to my 3 day weekend. I would count down the hours, but that's just too depressing.
