Yippee Skipee! Went to an users conference on the new POS system that the store will (someday) change to. Spent most of the time being surrounded by retailers ohhing and ahhing over programs that can tell them how much inventory they had on June 21st. 4 years ago. BORING!!!!!
But at the end of the meeting, they gave out prizes. I thought it would just be t-shirts. But they gave out gift certificates! My boss got $10 to Starbucks. Nice. And I got $50 to MACY'S!!!!
SHOES! Or maybe a purse! Or nice lingerie! Accessories are like orgasms, you can never have too many!!
Actually I just love the fact that I got a larger prize than my boss.

In addition to not having spoken to my mother in a month, 2 days ago my best friend got drunk and decided to belittle and insult me while we were all out to dinner for a friend's birthday.
That was kinda fun!
Retail therapy. Good thing I got that gift certificate.
