meh...
that's my feeling about the West Wing tonight. Just blah. Not horrible, just boring. The politics was too dry, there was no nuance and I miss the banter between all my favorite characters. but josh was hot in the beginning. so one redeeming moment.
so now I'm going to watch my DVDs of seasons past. And look at lots of good interaction.
the evil sale at the store is over, for me at least. Still one more day left on the sale, but I don't have to work it thank god. The lack of common sense in that place for the last 2 days has left me totally crazed. Its like everyone forgot how to do their jobs. If an item that is supposed to be shipped isn't on the receipt, ASK THE FUCKING SALESPERSON. Maybe it fell into the basket by mistake. Maybe the salesperson forgot to ring it up. But don't just assume and put it aside. Because when the customer calls us in 2 weeks pissed, it will be a hell of a lot worse. And trust me when I say, if I get yelled at, I'm passing the pain along. I'm through covering everyone's asses.
In very happy news, I requested "the City of Falling Angels" from the library. I expected I would have to wait at least a month or 2 to get it, but its there waiting for me!!! I'm not usually a fan of non-fiction, but any book on Venice must be read by me. Its like my own personal law.
After a massive cleaning of my apartment tomorrow morning, I intend to spend the next 2 days sewing my jacket and finishing knitting the shawl from hell. As beautiful as it is, the pattern was deceptively simple looking and has caused me nothing but grief. But I'm almost done, and the thought of how cute it will look with my new jacket is keeping me going....
