The Sweetest Thing
I apologize in advance for anyone who reads my LJ and who is sick of me going on and on about Laura. Anyway, the sweetest thing happened to me today. I stopped in to get a cup of coffee and a danish where Laura works. We chatted a bit, and then I left with my coffee and my danish in a bag. I got to work, got real busy and didn't eat my danish until late in the morning. When I opened the bag there was the little note that Laura had slipped in that made me absolutely melt (and blush a bit). I went to lunch today with Liz, my best friend at work. I told her all about my weekend with Laura and she was all ears. It felt so good to tell someone in the flesh, so to speak.
