so, on 14th St.
between 5th and 6th here in lovely NY, there's a guy that wears one of those crazy sandwhich board signs and screams at the top of his lungs "FREE PHONE!" "FREE PHONE!" (repeat ad nauseum.)
but he says it as if it's one word -"FREEPHONE! FREEPHONE!"
generally he's totally ignored, as everyone around here is always screaming something at the top of their lungs. however, yesterday, i was walking by, and he was yelling, and some guy actually stopped.
phone guy- FREEPHONE!!
stopping guy- Free phone?
