A visitor from Mauritius and bridges to heaven

I get a kick over my map on my profile page that logs visitors. I've gotten some interesting places, Such as France, various places in the UK, one visit from Ireland. Five visits from Russia. Then places got more exotic. I've had two visits from India, several places from Australia, one from New Zealand. Finally today from a place I had to look

If your computer is smoking and howling, I'd recommend pulling the cord out of the back of it and calling the Fire Dept. AND GET THE HECK AWAY FROM IT!

Computer chips don't explode; they are the "brain" and when a computer gets too hot, the chip will cause an automatic shutdown or allow something to melt. I have seen one tower where the chip failed and the entire case caught fire. All components were destroyed.

Yes, it can be dangerous. Sorry about your computer freezing up -- at least it didn't burn but it is dead. In memory of Grouchy+ :(
