first of all, my attempt to circumvent the man failed, as i had to go get a prescription for diflucan. boring ! at least i tried. i think it was just beyond the point of a garlic cure at the point i treated it. oh well.
i spent all day running errands. i'm making that cake that's on the cover of bon appetit this month for my fam's thxgiving and so was on a safari for all of the ingredients. then i realized my cake pans got lost in the move so i had to buy some new ones. i went to the tj maxx/home goods and knew while walking through it that my mom would lose her mind when she saw it. she loves tj maxx more than anyone i know. AND there's a fresh market across the street. double bonus for my mom.
then while at crate and barrel buying a bday gift for the same lady, i bought this calendar:
it is huge - 4 feet by 3 feet. yowza. i love it ! massimo vignelli !
plus just today while looking at my new office/studio/guest bedroom i was wondering what could fill the empty wall above the desk. donezo.
i can't wait to eat the shit out of sides, turkey, and bread kneads rolls at my parents' house. thxgiving is my favorite holiday of all time !
