i am not finished loving you.
if you thought by clicking on this you'd get me talking about both episodes, you'd be wrong. i totally forgot to write about last weeks what with the moving and the new job and whatever else.
needless to say, it was just a placeholder until the finale so let's just talk about the finale.
i'm going to do this character run down style because so many things happened.
• LEXIE : is she into george or WHAT? george loves the greys and all, so maybe this one will work out. her speech that she gave to him to absolve all that data she spewed out was really good though, and i think it was definitely the push george needed to stand up for himself and quit being the chief's bitch.
• DR. HAHN : omg hate her. thank goodness cristina and the chief finally told her to shove it. i think what she is afraid of is that cristina will be a better surgeon than her, and resents her because of her ties to burke. boringgggg erica. thank goodness callie also finally kissed her in the end so that she won't end up boning dr. sloan. i have never been so happy in my life for something good to happen to her.
• CALLIE : duh, knew that was coming. i'm glad she gave those kids what for though.
• SLOAN : omg ultimate creep standing by that pole watching callie and hahn kiss !!!!
• CRISTINA : dude i was so proud of her when she starting teaching lexie. yang proving she will not be a complete jerk like hahn is really important to me because i think she has the potential to go either way given her skillz. i still want yang to get into some kind of relationship though, girl deserves to make out at the end of the episode just like everyone else on the show.
• KAREV : first of all, holy. shit. i did NOT expect karev to lose it at the end of the episode like he did. i also definitely knew he was going to kiss izzie when they had him call her a stupid bitch and when she told him to stop talking about taking care of his mom. that is a perfect grey's anatomy makeout set up. i am, however, really glad that someone finally opened his eyes to how infantilizing and weird his relationship with big forehead was, because that shit was getting out of control.
• IZZIE : i am proud of her for standing up to karev. sometimes i don't think she has it in her and she gets so whiny and annoying, but when she really cares about someone, it is admirable. i am also interested to see what happens with her and the clinic next season and if she finally makes that her focus and quits trying to compete with everyone else.
• GEORGE : wtg, guy. although, that lexie smooch at the end was puzzling.
• CHIEF/ADELE : gross. you know how i feel about adele. just her talking is torture to me. but whatevz, if he wants to go home to her weird drawl every night, who am i to stop him?
• MEREDITH/DEREK : alright all of you merderers (rizzo, i got my eye on you) - you got what you wanted. now they'll build their damn house together and the show will get way boring and next season will probably be the last or whatever. their involvement in this episode was pretty predictable, and i knew that when they were doing surge on those two kids' brains that one would live and one would die. but hey, i'm sure a lot of people were on the edge of their seats for them to kiss at the end so that's good.
• CLINICAL TRIAL PATIENTS: omg what's up denise from full house. how you doin'. oh you still talk the same way you did when you were on full house ! wild ! ANYWAY, the two of them brought me to tears multiple times throughout the episode. they are the kind of characters shonda writes purposefully to get me to cry like a little baby and think 'i want to fall in love' thoughts to myself. also i thought it was a really good casting of her parents because they honestly did look like they could be her parents.
