last night tera and i saw john carpenter's the thing at the plaza theatre down the street. i don't think it's a movie i would ever want to see in the theatre but it was so good and so fun to get scared and yell and continually say 'omigodomigodomigod' over and over that it was worth it. kurt russell in the thing is hotter than kurt russell in big trouble in little china, for the record.

i also watched the very end of fight club when i got home, only because i really like the very end.
