if you're wondering what i've been doing with myself lately, it has involved a lot of

this week is our global sales and marketing conference, and people are here from china, south america and europe to talk about hair accessories and styling tools !! it sounds dumb and it's been a ton of freaking work, but it's been semi-enjoyable. yesterday i presented packaging to our entire sales team & company, which was strangely exhilarating, especially when i got to talk about ky intrigue packaging as an inspirational piece for what i worked on. lube jokes !! i also had to get up at 5.30 yesterday morning and had basically been working for two days straight on things like displaying product and cropping model shots for display photos. cool.

monday night we had the company-wide dinner, and tonight i have another dinner with all of the marketing people. tomorrow we're touring world of coke in the afternoon (finally, my dream will be realized) and then friday morning there's a lecture by our head sales dude who is weird/funny and then i have some meetings with people from the china team. i'm really tired and everyone who's actually in the office today is semi-cranky, but i guess it'll be fine later when this week is over and everyone can actually get their work done and actually sleep.

in two weeks i'm going to denver for the aiga conference/chad reunion, which i'm really looking forward to because some people from my graduating class will be there. i can't wait to drink beers with them and sing paula abdul songs in tribute to a frog named hoppy who we found deceased and cremated. RIP hoppy. (yes, this really happened while camping last year.) then, the following week i'm going to philadelphia to work the power99 powerhouse show (T.I. ! kanye ! akon !) for mosaic, our multicultural line. so i'll be there all weekend. then i come back and immediately have a photo shoot.

i've also been going to the gym every day or every other day. i had to skip some days for work dinners, but otherwise i have been hanging out there a lot. and i've been watching that ken burns pbs movie about world war ii, which of course made me cry last night. then i immediately watched wet hot american summer. IT'S MY GURNAL, I WRITE MY THOUGHTS IN IT EVERY DAY.

i yawned five times while writing this, i wish i could take a costanza under my desk right now. zzzzz.

war, my plot to lose ten pounds, atlanta, travel, movies, work
