i just watched the lookout. it was so good. in a way i kind of hate joseph gordon-levitt now because all the movies he has done recently are excellent, bordering on perfect. it's annoying because i think about how if i made more careful choices i could do the same thing in my own work. this is what happens when i watch movies. i extrapolate shit into my own life and then just drive myself crazy.
but anyway, the movie was really good. jeff bridges is also in it, and he rules forever. i also watched the 40 year old virgin & thankfully DID NOT make comparisons to my own life from it, but it did inspire me to listen to 'heat of the moment' and say 'i'm gonna yah mo burn this place to the ground.' at least a few times.
this weekend was really fun. katy and her dude friend dick came to atlanta and she and i went to taqueria, drank beers and took our birth control, went to see the annie leibowitz exhibit with a cocktail hour beforehand, ate tapas and drank mojitos at pura vida, and then katy and dick went back to their hotel and i went to sloppy seconds with patty, first time since may. we went to a weird after party, i came home around 4.
got up today, went to radial with katy and dick, they drove back to the homeland in tennessee, i came back home and watched black donnellys dvds, paid bills and took a nap. hangover central.
tuesday night peewee's big adventure is showing at the plaza down the street. i can't wait to see the breakfast scene on a big screen.
my brother was in the levi's show during fashion week, which is what last entry's photo is from. he got to wear denim suspenders and weird boots. there are more photos on nymag.com. he has a weird life.
rahm emanuel wasn't on bill maher as he had to vote (admirable reason to stand me up) but mos def was on so it was still an excellent episode. my favorite part is at the end of this video. "yeah bitch it's me."
