i love how they're always leaving.
man, atlanta has been getting some serious shit lately, between that dude with TB and the constant campfire smell and the fact that someone got stabbed near an exxon station on monroe and ponce and apparently the staff at the exxon station wouldn't call 911! there was a protest yesterday. my dad called to tell me about something else ridiculous that came out of this city lately, but i don't remember what it was. atlanta, get your shit together!
also, my dad let me know that i've turned my mom on to watching washington journal in the morning. i guess she got tired of hearing my impressions and/or summaries of the callers and wanted to hear them for herself. i've been wearing a hillary for president button on my purse and have gotten two comments so far from people at work that they "love" it. i hope by love they mean they too will vote for her.
one thing i am really proud of is the fact that i have been sticking to my exercise routine. i really like the new york city ballet dvds and they make me want to take adult ballet classes. maybe i will let myself do that in a few months when i'm in better shape and won't be dying trying to do combinations. i wish someone was around to hold a yardstick to my back during the plies though. that would be helpful.
work has been extremely busy. they are subsidizing my attendance at the how design conference in a little over a week, so that is awesome. hello seminars about burnout! also on my agenda is going to lebowskifest in louisville with megan and possibly jeremy in july. i am somehow hoping that some magic money will show up from somewhere so i can go to marie's bachelorette weekend in nyc, but i don't see that happening. boo. GIVE ME A MONEYS!
other than that, i have why we fight to watch tomorrow night and a bunch of books to read.
