so i got the new york city ballet dvds today. i did the first one, which takes about an hour. that's my normal time period for dancing around in my room (my NORMAL workout), so i was cool with that.
well, it definitely stretched out muscles i didn't realize i had. the workout part was not a joke - my abs are burning. so i would recommend it. it's a little tricky if you haven't had any ballet training and don't know the positions, etc, but they're easy to pick up if you watch it a few times.
i watched the video diaries, which are stories of the four dancers in the workout part itself, and one of them goes to mcdonalds and eats an unbelievable amount of food. way to mislead people in thinking that they can eat mcdonalds and do this dvd ! i wish i were dancing six hours a day so i could eat french fries whenever i wanted !
anyway. i'm over it. sorry edwaard. (actual spelling.) anyway, i really recommend the dvd, which is surprising because i usually hate shit like that. one thing i would say is that it's kind of fast, and i missed virtually the entire warm up sections (the first two) due to the speed. but i will learn them !
