• i took an abbreviated version of the myers briggs personality test this morning. we had talked about it at a coworkers dinner last week and i was wondering what i was. oprah and i are both ENFJs. cool.
• bay buchanan was on washington journal this morning shit talking hillary clinton and thumping her new book about hillary clinton's "insecurities." is it me, or is writing a book about a woman's insecurities when you yourself are a woman just kind of a lame thing to do? i mean there's some things i don't like about hillary, but i also understand that we don't have to be BFFz 4evz for her to be a functional, good president. i also understand that ALL people have insecurities, and any president or former president who claims they don't is a liar. in fact, i would go so far to say that writing a book about someone's insecurities when you are a living, breathing human who also has insecurities is a lame move.
• i'd rather be at home watching brick right now than sitting at my desk waiting to work on some stuff.
• or episodes of msnbc's lockup.
• or clueless, which i also watched this weekend. i forgot how good that movie is. it's one i never owned so every time it's on i get super psyched and watch it and LOVE it. my dad's favorite line is "anything happens to my daughter, I got a .45 and a shovel, i doubt anybody would miss you." i think he has wanted to say it to everyone i've dated.
• i also watched scarface yesterday, which i really, really love and don't know why and am almost disturbed by it. i don't have any posters hanging in my room or anything though so i think i'm safe. 'the world is yours' - best.
