I'll Meet You In The Morning When I've Broken Up The Band
Hokay... so yesterday I went to see Razorlight and what a day it was! This is going to be a very long entry cos there is so much to write about!
College was a snore but by the time we got to the train station I was really excited! We got on the train and amused ourselves for a while until i made a decision that lead to one of the most embarassing experiences of my life; me and gabby decided to go to the toilet. Well anyway, if you have ever been on to the toilet on trains then you will know that they are proper retardded and it takes like 5 minuties for the doors to open after you press the button, and they just ping open. So I was just about to come out of the toilet and I had pressed the button and it didn't open for ages so i was all like *snore*... then all of a sudden the door pinged open and it made me jump so i like stumbled out... only to realise that Joe was stood right in front of me in the queue for the toilet (so im guessing i went very red at this point) So i tried to stay calm and just like strut back to my seat but Gabby was like 'will you wait for me?' so i had to park myself on this seat next to Joe. So (whilst dying) i am thinking to myself should i say something because a) i dont wanna be rude and b) if i dont say anything now we'll probably never speak again and this is my only chance... so i decided to be brave and say something... so what did i say? did i say something cool and sophisticated? no i did not. i, being the uber kool person that i am, said 'i like your shoes.' I LIKE YOUR SHOES!? I mean seriously, can you get any more retarded!? It kind of worked though because we had a mini conversation about his shoes (in my defence it turns out they are limited edition converse)but then my bastard mother interrupted the conversation by fecking ringing me! Grrr... anyway i was probably red enough by then anyway so it was just as well.
Anyway we finally got off the train and as we're walking through the station Ash comes up to me and Loz and says he's going to stay at the back for the gig, and I was like why? And he said "well me and greg have taken ecstacy so we're a bit... you know" Well me and Loz were just in absolute SHOCK. I really had no idea what to say because I mean... ecstacy is pretty serious shit. Luckily they didn't react badly to it but still...
We walked to the Apollo and it was absolutely PISSING it down so my hair went to shit and my make up ran and to be fair i looked a right state... anyway as it was raining we went in the pub for a bit and RT (being the tard that she is) strolled up to the bar looking about 12 and was like "can i have half a lager" ...needless to say she didn't get served and because the woman knew we were all together there was no chance of the rest of us getting served so we were stuck on coke. RT, Jade, Frankie and Gabby then decided to go and queue (in the rain) but me and Loz were like fuck that shit and so we asked RT to ring us when she was at the front. So off they went and the boys came and sat with us and Greg says "so what are you girls taking?" and i was like "er... taking?" and he was like "yeah i mean what drugs." I had no idea what to say but luckily he went "or are you just on alcohol" so i was like "yeah..." (even though after the coke extravaganza we werent even on that) Me and Loz decided to go find RT then because she still hadnt rung us... so off we went... no sign of RT... because she'd fecking gone in without ringing us! So being swines we just cut in the queue at the front and strolled in haha. So anyways in the gig we found RT and then Joe and Mikey appeared and all was well cos Joe was actually talking to me ^_^ and since we got back he has been speaking to me on msn which is good cos he hasnt spoke to me on there for ages
The first band (who's name i cant remember) started and I thought they were really good... but then these complete lairy wankers being my starting pushing each other into me, and then started grabbing my arse and going "oh sorry love", and then they started on Loz too! Grrr. But it had an upside cos when me and Loz came back from a trip to the toilet Joe said to Mikey "let them go in front of us so those guys can't grope them again" and let us in front... at which point i died of sweetness... and he also told mikey to be careful not to burn me with his fag aww... ok so these arent big things but shush it made me happy! Then Yeti came on and i was amazed because they are really good! They had loads of awsome songs which I really wanna download (even though on one song they totally ripped the guitar from Road To Ruin by The Libs) Still good though! Also a comedy moment where John came out and Mikey shouted "PETE!" hahaha
Finally Razorlight came on and they were just fantastic! They played the whole album and some new songs / b sides... ahh it was so awsome. I can never put into words how good gigs are but it really was! After the Gig me, Loz, RT, Jade, Gabby and Frankie went to get the 11.13 train but because of some stupid none english speaking woman at burger king we missed it by literally a second! I expected it to be really boring waiting around for 2 and a half hours but I'm actually glad we missed the train cos it was so funny for various reasons:
- We ducked under the barrier to cheat the stupid 20p toilets but then we spotted a cleaning lady and someone radioed her so we all shit oursleves and ran out
- We all crammed into a photo booth and had a picture taken haha... Loz has a purple eye
- We were searching for a snack machine for AGES and then me and Loz finally found one so we ran to it screaming (as you do) and then a bit later all we heard was the rest of them screaming when they spotted it too. Then Gabby-slash-Frankie (can't remember which) got some minstrels but they got stuck so i nearly pissed myself laughing at that because of the irony that we'd been looking for a snack machine for so long and then her sweets got stuck hahaha
- This proper peado guy appeared and said a number of dodgy things such as when RT said "it's number 49" he said "i prefer 69 myself" which nearly killed my bladder as it was, but it got worse when he decided to show us how to use the machine and said "you go up and down, just the way i like it" and did this proper peado wink at which point me and Loz had to run outside because we were lauging so much! It was seriously the funniest thing ever, I had tears streaming down my face. The he (the peado) started getting all stressy and was like "i thought you girls would like a bit of fun but obviously i was wrong" to which RT replied "we do, just not with you!" and he got even more stressy and i was like "yeah so anyway see you around" and he went "will you really see me around? you know you wont so why lie" at which point i started think oo er this is getting a wee bit dodgy. Then he went "would you love me if i was poor, i've got 20p in my pocket do you love me now?" and so i went "oh definately" (being sarcastic) and he was like "i love you too, can i have your number", then his peado mate appeared and started harassing Frankie so we decided to run upstairs and rejoin the boys where it was safer. Still bloody funny though
- The gropers from the gig returned! hahaha what are the odds!
I'm sure there were other comedy moments but that's all i can remember as I am extremely tired due to not getting back until like 3! *goes to sleep*
