The Used was awsome!!! Oh yesh.
Me, Kezz (who i have now named DSK which stands for Dirty Smoker Kezz as she was smoking) and Loz go there around half four-ish and started queuing. 'Twas vair cold but not as cold as lostprophets cos that was just stupidly cold. Anyway Kezz came along bearing the news that RB was here! So me and Loz went hyper, then we saw a random person Loz recognised from Myspace and this boy we saw outside qube once which was wierd but also tres cool... we so knew he would be alternitive when we first saw him. We also re-met that Ross from Mest. Then we got given a cool Head Automatica badge ('twas a shame they had to pull out, i was really looking forward to seeing them =[ ) then we got hi-jacked by Mump Man (formerly known as dave) who was being a cock just because i refused to breathe near him... well I'm sorry but I don't want mumps thank you very much! Anyway finally at about 7.30 we got let in and after about an hour of waiting (during which time me and Loz made friends with a random cool man who was tres cool and said we were cool because we like indie as well as emo... you know it <3 ) Yourcodenameis:MILO came on and they were so good... the singer is totally on LSD which obviously makes him a total legend. Bert was sat at the side of the stage watching their set, aww so cute.
Half an hour later The Used came on and oh my god! They opened with Take It Awway, and they also did Listening, Taste Of Ink, I Caught Fire, Blue And Yellow (at which point bert told us to put our arms around our best friend but I couldn't find Laura =[ ), All I've Got, Box Full Of Sharp Objects, I'm A Fake, and Maybe Memories. Although they were absolutely amazing I was a bit dissapointed that the set was so short and I really wanted them to do Buried Myself Alive and Cut Up Angels... but it was still awsome. At the end we went to get merch and stoof (i got a sexeh wristband... i totally wanted these boxers but alas i couldnt afford them) We went to hang around the tour buses for a bit but no one came out and we had to go for the train. (We found out later that it was only Jeph who came out anyway). On the train I had an argument with this random sweaty 40 year old who was also bald about GC but then he started saying i had a valid point and we actually had quite an interesting conversation about music... but we were tired and we wanted to rest and he wouldn't stop talking so I got bored pretty quickly *snore*
Anyway yeah it was awsome and TBS/MCR next week! <3 Then Green Day, then Razorlight (by which point i need to have fixed my confidence problem), then NFG, then FOB woooo... and then we get a break fo' a bit to recuperate (good word... you know it) and stuff ^_^
However. I might get mumps.
I think I am becoming obsessed with mumps.
