Ohmigod. DO NOT PANIC. Rachel is updating her journal.
Ahem. Yes. This week has been kinda eugh. Martin and I are not talking anymore. After the party on Saturday night Martin decided that it would be fun to spray paint shit on the church. Martin had forgotten that there are cameras on the church, and Chris and Dan happened to walk by and see him. THEY got picked up by the cameras, so GUESS who got the police at their doors on Monday night? Chris and Dan - when they didn't do anything [I've seen the video]. Martin meanwhile thinks that the whole thing is hilarious, and "not a big deal" when, clearly darling, it is. Just don't get me started. Chris's mum is now going to the police and Martin's parents because he won't admit to it, for the above reasons, and also because she agrees with me; frankly, Martin deserves it. The whole thing so nearly very badly lost me Chris and Dan, and that's the last thing I want; I adore the pair of them, as did I Martin. But I guess you don't know people as well as you think you do.
Chris wrote me letters to explain everything. We've done a lot of talking this week, about the future. Apparently these last nine months I've made him realise that he has to take every oppertunity he gets, and really make a go of his life. But all this stuff with the police, and being such a good friend to Martin and not turning him in, made him think that he couldn't. But he can, hecanhecanhecan. He doubts himself far too much. I think I've made him see that though.
This week I've kind of decided that I'm going to try to get myself onto a psychology degree. For sure. I'd like to take French, English Literature and Biology to A level. But I don't think I'll stay at Park View for sixth form, I need a change, but at the same time there are so many people I don't want to leave behind.
Ooh. I think we're going to see Blink 182 on December 2nd when they play Newcastle. Rachel is ringing up for us on Saturday -hopefully standing tickets. Woo. Chris's second gig tomorrow night. I will take photographs.
