Does anybody remember cute little vampire rabbit, Bunnicula? B sucked vegetables dry leaving them completely white after somehow getting out of his cage and into the refrigerator in the middle of the night. When I was out with bryghtrose recently, we visited the Curious George store and there I ran into Bunnicula again. So when I found the book at home this weekend, I read it. After escaping family and sneaking up to bed, I could read myself to sleep - just like I always did and do when I am alone. I saw that I had underlined all the words I didn't know in the book, which fortunately I now did know. I don't get much chance to read stories anymore, but it is fitting that I would reread old favorites. After all, they are the books that made me want to write stories when I was a kid.
And speaking of kids, or maybe my mind analyzing my every move - I had a dream (no I'm not having a kid) about children breaking into my bedroom while I was asleep and they kept coming back in - even though I screamed at them and the parents to get out. I always understand the deeper meaning of my dreams. In this case, I was reviewing my responses to my nephew's behavior this weekend. He is 100% boy child. Anyway, we played with my strawberry shortcake house (I haven't touched it in years, really).
http://www.strawberryshortcake.com/After very carefully rearranging the entire house together (I even let him mostly decorate the attic, which turned into a reading room for the animals), he decided the old purple pie man's wife, a really tall skinny lady, would enter the house and destroy it. &%$!@# Enough said. Oh, and his favorite color is hot pink.
