acadian stuff
i went and met up with the guy from acadian to discuss where i wanted to work and pay. we came up with me working what is called a daylight/24, which means for example... i will work monday 9am-6pm and then work tuesday 6am until wednesday 6am and then get 2 days off and do it again. i dont think its going to be a bad schedule. i have to work my days in port allen and my 24s in gross tate. i chose this location because out of all the ones available this one was said to have the most emergencys and not just transfers and i hate transfers. first i have to pass a lift test which im a little worried about. i have strong arms but my legs kinda suck and i will be expected to lift with my legs 150lbs. guess i had better start working out. after i pass that i will start orientation on the 17th in lafayette for a week and then a second week of ride alongs.. then im on my own.
