"I like Zaniel soooo much. He just makes me feel so... normal, I guess? I mean, he's an all around great guy. (So... I started writing this this morning, but I had to go to class, and now I'm going to finish up, although now it's 5:45 so I need to be getting to class soon again)
He's just an actual person. It's almost as if Cooper was a figment of my imagination in comparison to Zaniel. Which, in a way, is true. I mean, I turned him onto something much more important and wonderful than what he was, because I couldn't let go of him.
Zaniel, on the other hand, is tangible. He's a real person with real feelings and real beliefs and a real spine. He has human characteristics and emotions and hobbies. Not that Cooper is subhuman, he's just... not on my plane of existence.
His world and his style and his thoughts and feelings are on an entirely different emotional level that I thought, at the time, was unique and amazing, but it made it impossible for us to get a real honest connection.
I just feel Zaniel being up eye to eye with me (although, literally, it's more like eye-to-chest... freakin' 6'1"). We can enjoy simple human pleasures and do simple pleasant things that are just so comforting and natural but also exciting and different because we like each other so much."
