[And Nitori will be waiting there, not in girl clothes, not in a wig, and freaking out inside. But...he feels bad about the lying, so he really needs to say something. Now. Before it gets any worse.

Hey. [Yuu doesn't think much of the not wearing girl clothes or a wig since Nitori wasn't wearing them when they first talked. And he doesn't know--maybe those things are more work to wear than not to wear?

I...[Where should he even start? ...Maybe with an apology. And a little bow.] I'm really sorry. You see, when I met you...I lied.

[And then he babbles, eager to get the rest of it out before it ats him up inside.] I'm not actually a girl. My name is Nitori Shuuichi; Yoshino is my friend's name. I didn't mean to, I just...I was really nervous about going to the dance dressed that way, and wasn't sure if I should or if it would be weird.

But...I was really happy you thought I was a girl, so I just sort of blurted it out, and I really shouldn't have. But it might have been weird, and...um, well.

[Actually, that was kind of the end of it. That might have been the most Nitori's spoken here, ever. He awkwardly bows again.]

[Yuu is a bit startled by this, and for a minute has no idea how to respond. This isn't exactly a situation he's run into before, so it takes a bit of processing.

That's-- It's alright. [He actually looks kind of embarrassed, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.] I mean, you're pretty convincing.

Um. Why do you do it, though?

U-Um. Thank you? [Nitori really is flattered by it, but feels totally awkward saying so.]

[The next question is a lot harder. He's been quick to say he wants to become a girl while he's been in Wonderland, but recently he's run into some people who were less than kind about it (hi Santana). So he's not sure he wants to spit that out just yet, but...the whole point of this was to not lie anymore, right? Hm...]

...Well. I...I guess I do it because I like to. And it suits me, so...

Oh. [Yuu is a little surprised by that answer, but only a little. He smiles.] If that's why you're doing it, then it's okay. And it does suit you.

[I mean, come on, he believed Nitori was a girl. So it must suit him.]

So I should call you Nitori now?

[Nitori smiles at that. It's one thing to claim wearing girl's clothes suits you, but it's another entirely to hear someone else say it.]

Um. [It's sort of a shame, since Takatsuki did give him that name, but...] Mm. I think that might be for the best. Otherwise it might be confusing... [There are only so many people in Wonderland after all, and it might get weird if he gets called by more than one name. ...Even if it's his own fault for giving out a different name in the first place.]

Alright. [Yuu's going to have to remember that.]

Oh! Here. [He reaches into his pocket and takes out a small item wrapped in a piece of tissue paper, and holds it out to Nitori.] Sorry I didn't wrap it better. I'm not really good at that kind of thing.

I figure you can still wear it with your wig, if you want. [When unwrapped, the paper will reveal a heart-shaped barrette, except not broken like in that picture.]

O-Oh, thank you. No, it's fine - you didn't have to, so don't worry about it... [Nitori accepts it extremely awkwardly after his babbling, and carefully opens it, trying to tear the paper as little as possible.]

[...and oh my gosh, look at that. Nitori's breath catches a little when he unwraps it.] It's really pretty! Thank you so much, Yuu. I'll be sure to wear it. [And he will - he's already thinking about how it will look on him, and what sort of outfits he could wear it with.]
