After my long ass lecture I went and saw the Bruce Naumann exhibit at the Henry. A wild ride indeed. When I saw Carsten Holler's Neon Circle I thought I was coming down with epilepsy, that was a pretty physical reaction. However, when I stepped inside I was able to hallucinate just fine within the marching neon tubes. For anyone who wants to see some good political art the exhibit closes on Sunday. As always the first stop was at the James Tyrell Skyscape. I sit in there and every single time I think to myself how much I want a room like that somewhere in my house or on my property. Maybe someday.
