So does this mean we get to be all stealthy?

So Natalie was leading me into some kind of other rooms to show me all the neat technology that I guess Charlie keeps for storage. I thought this was all kind of neat and cool even if Faith was a little skeptical. I guess I can't really blame her, I mean, this did sound a little far fetched but Natalie seemed really real to me.

"So," she led me into a large room with a lot of different computers and gadgets laying about. "This is our computer room. Alex usually does a lot of work figuring out what goes where."

I picked up a pen and twisted it and a light came on. "This is kind of like James Bond if you don't mind me saying."

Natalie grinned wide at me. "Only we get way better outfits to wear Willow!"

I turned and saw a laptop open. "Do you mind?"

She shook her head at me, "No not at all."

I turned the laptop on and watched it boot up, there were all these encrypted passwords and such. I think Natalie was pretty impressed and slightly scared maybe I could figure this all out that quickly. "So," Natalie leaned over my shoulder. "Do you think you can help us out by finding anything any leads?"

I shrugged. "Kind of hard, I'm not too sure what I'm looking for. Maybe you can take us to the last location they were spotted at?"

She nodded. "Well, that's by the Lincoln memorial, that was their last transmission I suppose."

"Transmission? You mean they communicated?"

"Yes, with this," Natalie handed me something that looked like a little walkie talkie but way more sophisticated. "We kept the message obviously, it was from Dylan."

"Can you play it back for me?" I asked intrigued.

"Of course, but Willow, Charlie and I have gone over this about a dozen or so times, its been pretty fruitless."

She played the audio message for me, and I began to listen to it, it was them running, they sounded surrounded, something like Nat..call …Charlie, help! and then it broke off after that.

Natalie's face kind of dropped when she heard it. "That was Dylan."

I took a deep breath. "We'll find them Natalie, I promise. Faith and I kind of both understand loss and losing things and all of that."

She nodded and I could see almost tears forming. Ok now I was so determined to find them. "You don't have any idea what happened?"

She shook her head at me. "Well Dylan and Alex were tracing these kind of thieves interested in stealing this rare diamond." She opened a book and I looked at it. "This diamond, is worth a lot of money, in the wrong hands. The thieves were interested in selling it to a terrorist organization in exchange for arms."

I swallowed. "What kind of thieves?"

She shrugged. "They were part of an organization," she handed me a folder, "Called The Trio."

I blinked glancing at the folder. "The Trio!"

"You know them?"

I felt my fist curl around me. The thoughts of Warren, Jonathan and Andrew came to mind but they were long gone. "Well, are they short and nerdy because, I can just about guarantee those guys don't really stand much of a chance?"

"They were, we don't really know much but apparently some of what they were spreading came to here in Washington D.C. It's not those guys that you dealt with in Sunnydale, don't worry Willow you won't have to flay anyone. Charlie had sent Dylan and Alex to investigate and they didn't return, they just, disappeared."

Wow Natalie really did know a lot about us to know that I thought.

I tried to remember about Buffy and the time Warren used that gun to reverse her metabolism to make her invisible. But of course that was long gone. Could it be possible I thought that maybe these new guys whomever they were trying something similar? Or worse. People just don't disappear.

"We'll go to the Lincoln Memorial tomorrow, Natalie and see if I can find any clues. Let's go find Faith and Bosley," I said standing up.

She nodded and led me out of the room. Gosh, Faith and I were really going to have to put ourselves to work. There was no way these guys were getting away with this.
