Alright let's just skip the whole I don't really get how Xander mystically appeared in front of the swimming pool and oh yeah the fact he caught Faith and I a very interesting position to say the least. I mean I'm thinking this has to be super important for oh I don't know those wacky Powers that Be to send Xander. But that makes me wonder if they are going to send Buffy too. Or someone else. Who knows. But Xand being here kind of gave me a comfort level. Ok a strange comfort level cause he's dead but a comfort level at that.
Like I said, can't really focus on the weirdness right now just kind of have to focus on what Xander was saying. "Excuse me Xand, did you say blow up? With people? And bombs and?"
He nodded. "Let me repeat again for those that might not have been playing in our game the first time. Girl, that kind of looks like Faith is going to pull somewhat of Die Hard plot only without the broken glass. Things go boom. Things blow up. People die."
Faith shrugged getting out of the pool. "Ok I'm getting this now X-man, but why though, why does she want to do that?"
Xander tilted his head a bit. "I do not know the reasons for that Faith but I do know she's a little annoyed. Well I'm guessing a lot."
I adjusted my bathing suit while this was going so that you know Xand actually saw me kind of well not so naked. "So ok, Rudo Girl wants to ruin all the happiness and such." I wanted to kind of touch Xand to see if he was really existing but I knew I couldn't.
"Yeah kind of figured that out Red," Faith sighed. "So what you just came here to tell us this?"
Xander nodded. "Indeed that was my purpose but hey it was also check out the swank swimmers too." He waggled his brows. "But I'm afraid," he looked down at his wrist looking I guess if he had a watch on but he didn't.. "My time is done here."
"Xander you don't have a watch on," I smiled softly.
"Oh I guess not. Well ladies, good luck with the saving the world thing," he started to back away. "Make us Scoobs proud. And um, Faith, you still look good even without a bikini on."
Faith laughed. "You know it!"
"Xander wait!" I called to him.
He turned around quickly, "Will, I gotta go, you know I sort of hear that orchestra playing in the background which means cut to commercial break."
I swallowed. "Thanks Xander. Really. I..wow. I can't believe you came here. I miss you guys."
Xander gave me those tender eyes I had so gotten used to seeing over the years. "I know Willow. We miss you too. Buffy and I couldn't be prouder of how far you and Faith have come. And Tara is too. One thing we never forget ever is you Willow. I don't. I promise you. We love you. Now get back to your girl. God knows I wouldn't want to leave her dangling."
I felt the tears coming. "Alright Xand. Good-" and before I could finish he vanished.
I turned around and Faith tapped me on the shoulder. I nearly jumped. "Whoa Will, don't worry I'm real."
I ran my fingers through my hair. "Oh sorry just a little you know still can't believe it kind of deal."
Faith nodded. "Yup. Now, I really have seen it all. Didn't think Xand would catch us but hey, next time we'll invite the neighbors."
"Alright Faith come on no time for joke, we have to find out where this girl is," I took her hand and we went back into the hotel room.
She shrugged. "Like that's going to be easy considering we don't even have a name." I glanced out of the corner of my eye as I saw Faith start to slip out of her bathing suit and into her trusty jeans and tank top. Come on Willow have to focus here.
But come on that body of hers. And what we did in the pool. Wow. It's not easy to research when your girlfriend looks like that. Trust me.
I cracked open my laptop and started going into the hotel databases. "We don't necessarily. Xander said she's going to be at the castle tomorrow. So we just have to figure out where she would probably get the explosives close enough to it." I managed to hack into the Disney construction plans and even into their top little secret construction of the Cinderella castle. I saw openings of the windows where they hadn't sealed it off because they never thought anyone could get in there and of course at the base. But the doors were kind of well it looked like they were electronically sealed.
Faith paced around the room rubbing her palms together. I could tell she was getting impatient. "Ok Red, I'm tired of waitin'. Where do I have to go in this castle?"
I sighed. "That's just it Faith. The castle has a lot of electronically sealed doors and windows that are open. The bombs could be planted anywhere and everywhere in there."
"Can't you just hack into the system there and unseal everything?" She asked.
I shrugged. "I can try. It's not an easy hack, I mean hotel databases and systems are one thing. Breaking down an entire security system. Not exactly easy."
She looked at me seriously. "You broke me out of prison Will, I'm sure you can do this."
Faith had a point but still this wasn't exactly easy pickings. "Alright let's say I can power down these kind of electronic seals to get in the castle. You still have to get to her and what if she's not actually at the Castle, what if she's like doing it from a remote location."
"She's not gonna get that chance. Look she's been followin' us around for the past few days. She can't be far," Faith grabbed her jacket and slid her knife in her back pocket of her jeans. and headed towards the door. "I'm gonna go find this bitch and haul her ass down. You keep working on those doors."
I got off the bed and folded my hands in front of me. "Faith we don't know what we're dealing with. I mean ok blowing up Disney, doesn't exactly lend credibility to the whole idea this girl's stable. Think before running off at least let me get an address."
"No time for that, look you keep doin' the research. If I don't find her in an hour, I'll be back. But if that chick's runnin' loose, I gotta stop her," she opened the door and left. I guess there was no stopping Faith. I should've learned that by now, that when she gets an idea in her head she kind of keeps going with it. Must be a Slayer thing.
I went back to my laptop and tried to figure out more of how to power down Disney but it was going to be really tough. There were all sorts of codes, even harder encryption than I thought there would be. Ok so yeah it was even tougher than breaking the Initiative, way back when if you could believe that. I began to tap away at my keyboard trying to figure out various codes for the Cinderella castle.
Then it dawned on me. Maybe I was thinking too hard about this. Maybe Disney thought that no one would be dumb enough to try to blow up the Castle. And that's when it hit me that the passwords were probably something simple. So I typed in Tinkerbell. And whoa! It worked. I was in to the security system at Disney. I started scanning the codes and found the code for the Cinderella security system and thought powering it down. I hit a few buttons and sure enough the doors now read unlocked. This would be perfect, now all I had to do was wait for Faith to get back and we could get in there and get those bombs before morning. But then I thought what if Faith got really busy trying to do recon work and didn't get a chance to come back. Maybe I could get down there and at least figure out how many bombs are there. I got dressed quickly putting on a pair of jeans myself an a t-shirt and I wrote Faith a quick note letting her know where I was going.
I left the hotel and headed back towards the park. Of course it was kind of empty cause it was nearly closing time. I headed on in and headed towards the castle. I headed towards the inside of it and saw the first door. The door I unlocked. "Hey!" a security guard came over to me. "You can't go in there!"
I stopped. "Oh sorry you know, I kind of always wanted to check out the inside of the castle. I hear you can really see the entire park from in there."
The security guard stood in front of me. "You can. I've been in there. But it's kind of close to closing time. Come back tomorrow. Sometimes there's tours."
I moved my hair back behind my ears. "But you know big tours they kind of scare me and.."
All I remember what happened next was that the guard grabbed me, smacking me, and put something smelly across my mouth with his handkerchief that I thought was chloroform.
When I awoke, I found myself all the way up near the top of the castle. Tied up to some post and there was Rudo Girl staring at me. I looked down and saw the bombs tied to the front of my chest. "Didn't think you'd wake. Man it's a good thing you did because I just love a good bang for the buck don't you?"
I squirmed, this girl had me tied up so tight around this pole in the center of the room that I couldn't move. "Oh don't move. The ropes. They just get tighter." She smacked my face causing me to flinch.
"I knew it!" I furrowed my eyes at her. "You weren't just wanting to cut us in front."
She smirked at me. "Guess not. But it was kind of fun watching you and your little how shall I say it, girlfriend I guess, get all annoyed at me. Won't really matter now will it?" She hit me again. Ow. Again with the hits. What do I look like some kind of punching bag? "How Rude."
She laughed manically at me. "Oh you're the smart one I can tell. So tell me does she take it from you as well as you give it?" She got right in my face. "Because when you're blown up in a million parts, guess it won't matter anyway will it?"
I swallowed hard. "What's your problem? Why are you doing this?"
She shrugged. "Why the hell not? I don't have to give you my reasons. Let's just say, didn't really like when my parents kind of ditched me here in Disney. Yeah that's right." She grabbed my jaw and pulled it close to her as I tried to look away from this psycho. "Look at me when I'm talking to you!"
I rolled my eyes. "Sorry don't really have time to listen to the stalker psycho gal. I'm too busy kind of being hostage here. So if you're going to blow me up already just do it, because another minute of listening to you talk. I'd rather just die."
She squeezed my jaw so hard. Ok not so smart Will, angering the kidnapper. "You just might get your wish." She smacked me again. "Cause in about an hour, you and the rest of this pathetic place are going to be all blown up."
"What about you?" I asked. "Guess you won't be getting all happy either."
She shrugged. "I'm not caring too much about that. Besides, I think I'm getting a real big jolly right about now watching you squirm. I bet you're gonna blow sky high and man I can't wait!" She cackled at me and hit me so hard I kind of wished I would just pass out.
And then I got my wish. My last thoughts were, I guess I might be joining Xander and Buffy after all. Unless Faith could get there.
