erm, anyway, about the venezuela thing? yeah, false alarm. i'm not going to venezuela, and i don't have a job either. *rolls eyes* see, i knew the asthma thing was going to come back and bite me in the behind... *sigh*
anyway, since i've obviously been hyped up on house lately (eeeee... new eps. on the 28th! yeee! *does happy dance* AND universal channel is airing from 4.10 on starting on the 21st ^^) i haven't been doing much of anything. listening to music almost non-stop, to see if i could finish a couple of the fanmixes i'd left in the backburner (there's one song in particular i need and can't find). reading fanfic, obviously. and making graphics-- just a couple sucky ones. i even put together a whole new layout for this place (two guesses who's featured in the header, and the first two don't count ¬_¬) but i'm not going to change it yet; it's only been like a month for this one, for god's sake >.<
i really should write something, though. i have a few ideas for another house fic, but of course, after two pointless one-shots the muse was ready to push me over the edge of a medical plot, which gives me the shivers. i've got the diagnoses more-or-less planned, but i don't think it'll get written... too many details, and all i've got for research is wikipedia and a couple encyclopedias here at home. helpful, but not enough. i'm not jumping off that cliff if i don't know i'm not going to screw it up.
and speaking of house fanfics... the house fans in my f-list might like this one. (now that i think about it... i don't really have that many house fans in my f-list. oi! someone do a house friending meme or something! they had one at house_het but it was deleted...) manuelj pointed me to it, and good thing he did, because it's fantastic. the fic is three hires by sam starbuck and it's about how house hired the three original ducklings. and as far as characterization goes, i can tell you that i consider this to be absolutely canon. *nods* really enjoyable read.
well, time to go back to the song hunt... hmmm, nah, i think i'll go work on some videos now.
