When the storm is over, there's always a rainbow. . .
I saw this interview with an actor named Gary Sinise and he was talking about this program that he is promoting in Iraq. It is a program in which American soldiers are over there teaching, talking, and spending time with Iraqi children. It was so interesting to me b/c the media promotes so many negative images of the war and this was a positive image in which Americans and Iraqies were together, smiling and learning with eachother.
If you are willing to learn, and to become less naive about this war, you'll read the information on this site. It seems many people are very ignorant and think American are the enemy, and this makes me sad. Although I agree that things in Iraq are a big mess, there are good things being done there too. Its important for us, as Americans, to support the troops. . . because if we were as brave as them we'd be over there.
Ok, soooo, check out this site, because too many teenagers watch these Anti-American news channels and aren't truly educated on what is REALLY happening over there.
