But the more genuinely upsetting or difficult to watch it is, the more it makes sense to minimize it as much as possible.

yeah, I got that part--'s why putting the trailer somewhere where you'll be tempted to click on it every time you log in to lj for the next few days doesn't make sense. Wouldn't it be less disconcerting to try and avoid further mention of the film?
