Other than my work egg hunt, Matt and I didn't do much for Easter. We used to have dinner with his parents, but last year we didn't - and this year we didn't even hear from them. They used to also send a card or gift us a modest Easter basket, but this year we are too far gone into the Bad Children column to deserve contact. Oh well.
I wore my ears and hid eggs early in the morning aorund the kitchen.
My budget was a bit slim this year. I only purchased about half the candy I normally would. I put 2-3 pieces per egg, and scaled way back on the amount of chocolate I used.
This made it extra annoying that people would steal the chocolate out of the eggs and put them back into hiding. There was also a guy who filled his empty eggs with food product like tofu and orange chicken, then hide them again.
Rob hates John Mayer, so scenes like this - gifts form employees - are common.
Generic Easter cake order! I love the fat bunnies.
Betty! I gave her extra filled eggs to take home and hide for her three year old.
Ceecee!
