Store stuff:
My Summer Flower Earrings made the front page of Etsy the other day (screencap). This never happens to me. I am not in the Etsy social circle, so the folks who make the lists don't know I exist. Even my appearance in treasuries is a rarity. In fact, I searched that Flickr account where all the front pages are archived, and the Summer Flowers feature is the only one I've been in. It was great to get a little attention! Though I didn't get any sales form the exposure, I received quite a few new favorites.
Today is also the last day of free shipping.
House stuff:
It is the weekend, so we have to wait until Monday at the earliest to learn anything about the house situation. Our fingers are crossed that the bank will replace the roof. Everyone I've spoken to feels pretty confident that they will. If they don't, we can't finance it because the roof is in such bad shape. We spoke to several lenders on Friday about it, and the general consensus was that they'd be ridiculous not to fix it. Most banks would refuse to finance it in that awful condition.
Work:
For the first time in over two months, we're caught up and business is slow. It is a strange feeling. I'm using the downtime to get organized and make extra stuff. Both Tamela and I have vacations in May, so the more stuff that is prepped, the better.
