Wow.

At least other customers were just as appalled with her behavior as you and the rest of the staff members involved were. That is amazingly crazy.

And I bet her "daughters" will continue to shop at your store.

I bet her daughters would be mortified to find their mother had been acting like that in public. Good grief.

That may be the reason why they weren't in public with her lol. My mom used to do that crap when I was younger. Either I would refuse to go indoors with her or I would offer to get groceries while she waited in the car.

My mother was also a habitual irrational shrieker. Oh, memories.

"I can't believe this! You have always done it before! They just make me one in the back, right away! I just want a white cake with white icing!"

"...so what you're telling me is you are someone who has established themselves as a problem customer who makes outlandish and last-minute requests and has not learned from her mistakes and still thinks she should be catered to?"

I am grateful my past seven-plus years of management have not been in any form of place that allows the customer to think they are in the right. Your peeps are saints, and I would not have put up with even half of that. Bitch needs to chek herself.

Wow. I bet you made the customers there more loyal with the consistent, level-headed handling of the situation. I'm not sure I could have held back...

I am very glad that the store staff backed you up and looked out for you. Hell, even other customers were looking out for you!

If I'm in the store and witness something like this I feel the obligation to step up for the employees and say what they are thinking.

It goes something like, "Bitch....do you understand the words coming out of her mouth? Three days notice! Getting louder will not bend time and make up for the fact you have fucked up. Now quit being a asshole and tormenting the employees. Frankly if you did get a cake from them, I guarantee they are going to shit in your chocolate frosting. Now go the fuck away or I shall taunt you a second time."

Well I only do that in places I don't work. But frankly I would love to see a employee go off on someone like that.
