Here is the view on I-5 at about 5:30am this morning. Taken from BM's car.

Matt is stuck at work doing a second shift because %85 of the workforce has called off due to snow. He has been there since 5am. I find this to be filled with suckage, but someone has to make sure the bad guys are kept in check. And it's good money at $50/hour overtime pay. I reserve my right to whine, though, because it's cold outside and I want to snuggle. I miss him. I will barely see him until tomorrow afternoon. We are both are getting up at 4am to get to work tomorrow.
We have about a foot of snow now, and it is still coming down. I'm anxious about Matt getting home in it. I don't know when he'll get out of there. It should be by 10pm, but if people aren't showing up for the graveyard shift, he could be delayed. I will be pissed if this happens. He's already working an extra shift.
I won't be driving for days. BM is taking me tomorrow, and maybe Matt on Tuesday. As far as Christmas eve goes, I am supposed to work 8:30am - 5pm, but may have to go in at 6am with BM again. She's pretty cool about letting me work early shifts and riding with her. Tamela hasn't been at work in a week because of this crap, so she's probably just glad she has someone to make her delicious cakes. Plus, working the early shift on Christmas Eve would be a nice little bonus.
I have Christmas and the day after off!

If it keeps snowing I am hoping to get one of them in it up over their heads. Poor Oliver was terrified as evident by this photo, which I have titled 'WHY, GOD, WHY?!'. He cried and cried until I took him back inside. Lilo loved it. She was purring and trying to escape into it.
