Rie in Anthropologie
I now own the most beautiful hardcover copy of Alice in Wonderland, thanks to my mother and Anthropologie. It's a Penguin Classics edition with excellent end notes justifying Alice's estimate of falling to the center of the Earth and pointing out where minor characters show up again, and lots of other interesting bits of information.
John Tenniel's illustrations are included too!
Also thanks to my mother and Anthropologie, I now also own a beautiful multicolored shirt made out of silky/jersey material, and an awesome pair of trouser-cut jeans that fit much better than my two sizes too big Joe's Wide-Legged Muses, and a fun "planner" with to do lists and spaces for writing and doodling. The pants need to get hemmed because they're five inches too long. This was all part of a belated birthday gift I love very much.
I also bought a "grown-up" planner yesterday for 2011 that should arrive in the mail on Wednesday. I hope I stay organized next year; I have plenty tools for it, after all.
