I've had a good week so far.

Tuesday, Athena_artemis and I went to Roswell and ate at The Counter. I ordered a veggie burger with brie, mixed greens, apricot sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, grilled onions, dried cranberries, and sliced cucumbers on a whole wheat bun. We also split french fries and sweet potato fries, and we were so stuffed after eating our burgers and half the fry plate, we ordered our dessert, a caramel brownie, to go. Everything was delicious. I wasn't sure about what to order on my burger, minus the veggie patty and the cheese, so I went for things that were bitter and sweet to go with the taste of the cheese. I think I picked well, because my burger tasted great.

Taryn and I also finally watched Freaks, after we had talked about it for 3 years. It was an... Experience. I liked it, but I also laughed at things that will probably send me straight to hell. But I'm okay with that, I will have good company.

That evening, I had a conference call for Nationals, and it was the shortest call we've ever had. Things are almost done being decided on. So, the call went well. The convention is 45ish days away. The steering committee has poured their hearts and souls into making sure there will lots of fun things for everyone, and I know it'll show.

Wednesday was long. I was on campus from 9:30 am to 11 pm because I had three classes and a pledge meeting to go to. The classes were painless, but I was pretty tired after Intro to Drawing, and many of the pledges already got the "extended version" from our section chair, so my "speech" was short and rushed. I stayed through the entire meeting because a few pledges needed my signature. I went to sleep as soon as I got home, and I managed to sleep like baby for the first time in a few nights. It was nice.

Today, I'm hanging out with Tamara, working on signage designs for Nationals, and working on a Core paper. Should be a good day...

Tomorrow, I will have one class, and I'm hanging out with Mike for most of the day. He wants to buy a white vest for the fellowship banquets at convention, so I guess he's dragging me to the mall to help him. I don't know how I will help him, but he will have company at the very least.

Saturday is the last time the entire steering committee is meeting in person until December 26, the day before convention. We've been planning this thing for almost a year, and I cannot wait for the planning to be over and the convention to start. Over 1,500 people will be there, and they will all be my family. It's going to be amazing. Fact.
