The Dentist
For some people going to the dentist is no big deal...for me 4 months ago it was a huge deal. All I could remember was the sound of the drill the pressure, the smell, and the pain. Oh did I forget to mention when I was a kid I was so deathly afraid of needles they could never numb my mouth. So I endured the pain with no numbing meds. About 4 months ago I couldn't take the pain anymore..ended up having two teeth pulled because I waited 20 years to go back and get my teeth worked on or even just cleaned. I had 7 small cavities that needed to be fixed and a cleaning. I had my last dentist visit today. I feel so relieved to know that the dentist isn't as horrible as I remember it as a kid..either that or my dentist just rocks..LOL I just feel great that I overcame a fear that had I know wasnt so bad I wouldn't have waited so long to go. Oh yea and because I've refered so many people I get a free teeth whitening! I'll do that sometime soon! woohoo!
