Hanging on again!
I am always hanging on. Life, work, kids, managing never ending debt...I saw the Hobbit last night. My 13 y/o son saw it with me, and it reminded me how much I miss writing. Too busy with real life these days. It seems it has been 18 months or so since I posted and I am wishing everyone a joyous Holiday season. Shout out to all my livejournal friends!!!!!
I was in a car accident in April this year, out of work for 2 months recuperating with Physical Therapy. I was on the job when it happened, so workmans comp kicked in. I left Maryview Hospital and joined a homecare agency. It was while on duty with them when the accident occured. Injured neck and rt shoulder. You know, never knew that I was so weak in the right arm until I was doing Physical Therapy. Yeah, I am right hand dominant, but I carried everything in my left arm; i.e. kids, groceries, books, anything heavy while I held keys in rt hand to unlock doors, use cell phone, etc. By the way, texting is illegal in VA, and that was what the girl was doing instead of paying attention to the "stopped" traffic in front of her, hitting me so hard, that all my air bags in my SUV deployed, totalling my vehicle, and knocking me into SUV in front of me, causing domino effect to 4 cars.
Hope to hear and read most of your newest stories that I have missed over time. Budgielover, Shirebound...caught some of your updates on Fanfiction.
