Reunion
What a nice day it was today. I didn't get much sleep from the previous night. But, I'm not bitching about that. I talked to Rick last night for awhile on-line and said what the hell and just called him. Mom wanted to ask him about the clubs and what not and we were just talking about different things and was just laughing. So, we made a date today for him to come over and hang for awhile. He had plans to go to the beach and said he would stop by later in the afternoon. Which was great for both of us because I could take a cat nap and gave mom time to make arrands. So, I helped my cousin Toni with the HTML on her profile for some site. Finally, when time was hitting around, Rick called and said he was waiting for his mom to get home and that he would be calling again to remember how to get to my moms house.
When Rick pulled up, he looked so grown up and healthy. I'm very glad that he's doing so good. He seems very happy and on track. Being in college. We talked about a lot of things. The past, the future, the present, the good and the bad. It was a very good conversation. He got to see mom and how she looks now (last he saw was when mom ws still heavy before her surgery). He saw the kids that are now grown up into young adults. He saw my cousin and the 2 new babies. He was just in shock of how everyone has changed in their own way. A few hours went by and Rick had to go. He had to go to dinner with someone.
I'm glad I finally got in touch with Rick. It was very nice to see him and hang for the time we did. He said he would definitly call again and we told eachother we would have to go out sometime. Well, right now I'm having a conversation with my mother and my cousin. I need more days like this.
