Concerts....
I finally got around to talk about my 2 days of going to concerts. I'm so tired. I haven't gotten "REAL" good sleep lately.
Anyway the 28th (thursday) was Chronzon and Divine Empire at the Poorhouse in Fort Lauderdale. I didn't think I was going to get in because it was 21+ and they were carding but, I got in just fine. I took mom with me which was cool. She was glad that she went and she had a good time. I had a beer and Cranberry Absolute. The show was awesome. The stage was small and there was barely any room for people to mosh so, it was mostly just head banging. Divine Empire was kick ass. The drummer was really fast. And Jason had us all cracking up with his "Git R Done" We didn't end up leaving till around 3ish and got home at 4AM. I took a bunch of pictures and have them in my album.
Sunfest with Billy Idol. Let me tell you, for a man his age..... GOD was he fucking fine. Me, Umpa, and mom went. Mom found a spot in the back. but, I wasn't going to stay there. Anyone who knows me knows I make the mission, so, I went all around till I got to the stage and me and Umpa were pretty close. Close enough where I could see the sweat on his forehead. I took so many pictures. And I even took a video recording. He was making funny faces, and the guitarist was bad ass, he broke his wrist 6 days before the show and had a cast on but, he played as if everything was fine. Billy played some new songs I haven't heard of and then he went old school. And people started going nuts. After the concert was over, they had fireworks. which were very pretty. Me and Umpa went nad grabbed some food and drinks. We were so thirsty because we didn't want to move from our spot. I had a great time. 2 nights in a row of music.
We were supposed to go today to see Breaking benjamin and 3 doors down. But, I really wasn't up for going. I knew I was going to bump into people I really didn't want to see. And I already saw them all. I didn't feel like standiong with all those bands. Plus, I'm still tired and sore from the last 2 concerts I attended.
Well, I'm out. I have to go some where with Umpa. I should have those pics of Billy up soon. I just have so many.
