clarinets... and other instruments
REEDS! I HATE PICKING REEDS!!!! i have 2 1/2 but they dont seem to be working right. or maybe i cant play the clarinet. but honestly, i hate my reeds... and Bb's on the clarinet. its lyk 7 keys and i cant make it work. i mean, besides breath support. im so used to the trombone and the baritone.
speaking of trombone... im thinking that maybe i should start working on it more. now that im not using matt's (popek) old one, i can actually make a decent sound come out. it needs a bath, but washam just got it fixed. i saw a really nice one at sam ash for $200. but anyways, Eastern U wants me to come and play for them. which would be great but i cant play the trombone and i need two instruments to play with them. and that would leave trumpet...
which, speaking of trumpet... its really hard to go back to trumpet now that i've started baritone. its just so HARD! the mouthpiece is small, and i think that im playing higher (or lower) than i really am. maybe i should go back to it for a while. i can always do baritone, but i want to get back on trumpet at some point.
but this still leaves me with the problem of reeds. ARGH!
