28 May 2012 - Getting Ready for Camp NaNoWriMo
I have no idea what I'm going to write for Camp NaNoWriMo, but I better come up with something soon. Lately I've been too immersed in work, and haven't been able to properly concentrate on writing, except for short spurts. With my brain stuck somewhere between Elder Scrolls' Oblivion and Skyrim, maybe I can delve into my "Egdewater" story and play in that realm again. I've had some luck in the past kicking up 50,000 words writing about traveling around the countryside with a horse named Bailey, and living in the mountain town of Willowood. I just wish I'd keep up the momentum post-NaNoWriMo to finish what is usually only 75% complete by day 30.
In the meantime, I'm waiting around for a contractor to arrive and finish a paint and repair project on the exterior of the house. I sent John out to go see The Avengers and enjoy the afternoon while I get some admin work done on websites, etc. It is surface-of-the-sun hot outside, so I'm glad to be in for the afternoon.
