Work continues on the Irish Hiking Scarf. The hat and cabled scarf are my 2011 attempts at expanding my knitting skills, as I've been reluctant to move onto any projects that require following complex patterns.
Something about finishing the hat allowed me to launch into knitting the scarf without any fear of failure. I'm hoping the scarf will be done in the next week. I'm looking forward to wearing it out and showing it off.
