9 July 2010 - To Shore Leave 32
John and I are headed to Cockeysville/Hunt Valley, MD to attend Shore Leave 32 ( http://www.shore-leave.com/ ). We both have poured over the schedule for the convention and will spend at least half of it together, while at other times we'll be off attending panels on our own.
Shore Leave has been adding more and more writing workshops to the mix over the past couple of years, and that seems to be my main focus this round. Not that I won't sit in on some of the guest panels (Finally will see Dominic Keating from Enterprise - he had to back out of a previous Convention we attended). While I will probably enjoy seeing Edward James Olmos and Katee Sackhoff, I'm planning to chill out more than rush to find great seating or place to shoot pics. Will have camera with me though.
In addition to a notebook, I'll have both my a laptop and a smartphone, so I hope to blog a bit more consistently this weekend.
