Today was Awesome with a capital 'A'. And here is why:
1. I saw Superbad. It was hilarious.
2. I had peanut butter cookies and cream ice cream at Giffords
3. I learned a new board game (Imagine If)
4. Peruvian food is God. Yum.
5. Excellent episode of No Reservations (the show with Anthony Bourdain, not the movie)
6. New sneakers
7. Summer rain
So, I mean, despite this week's issue of the Sunday Source being lame, the day turned out pretty good. I had some fun with friends. I hung out with the fam-fam. You know, all was good in the proverbial hood. Not that I live in the hood, I'm just sayin', if 'The Hood' was a metaphor for my life in general. Okay. Well. This is awkward. I'm leaving forever in like negative days. Wow, by that I mean, I am leaving for college on the 23rd. I am v. nervous. I have not yet started to pack. I am sensing a pattern here. Clearly, I do not like packing. I do not like leaving. Well, mainly I just don't like getting out of my bed. What's going to happen when I go to college and everyone I meet is going to be like, "Why do you talk about Harry Potter all the time? You're so weird." Agh. NOOOO. Last night I had a dream that Daniel Radcliffe randomly showed up at JDS. I'm just going to pretend like that dream never happened. I wonder when I'm going to stop having dreams about high school. Probs never. That shit don't ever stop.
