And I keep thinking that I'm three quarters of the way done!
Well in some aspects I am close to finishing a draft of the companion piece for ' To Withdraw', but yes I'm still quite a ways away. It's Katie-centric again (woohoo!) and yes there's some Naomily in it -- but not without a bit of conflict of course. I wonder if I'll hit close to ten thousand words? Geez this might as well be my Reverse Big Bang lol It won't. In fact this is more like practice for my RBB :) I can't wait to see what the artists come up with and what's up for grabs.
I really want to do a Katie centric piece -- and I guess at this point I'm open to any pairing.... Of course preferably femslash or hopefully Katie is single, and I can throw in some lesbian subtext LOL. *crosses fingers*
I've been visiting skinsfans to see what's going on as far as Gen 3. GOD. I'm so sick of reading phrases like, "The sixth series of 'Skins' is set to be "very violent" and "gritty"," or "...It pushes the boundaries..." -- I DON'T CARE. It's like they're baiting new audiences to try and get into Skins because it's something new. It's just too gimmicky which I hate, and think just takes away from the show. There's nothing worse then over justifying something. Like an old boss said to me once,
"Justification is like masturbation -- you're only getting yourself off."
