Australian Open 2009

Mutua Madrileña 2009

Here's an awesome article from Times Online
.

I'm sorry, but you hafta think that after watching the last few days of this year's Mutua Madrileña, Nadal, Federer & Djokovic are still on an entirely different universe from the rest. The 4-hour semi between Nole & Rafa was one of the best matches played on court - only because I sorta thought Rafa would get it in two sets. Goes to show Nole's determined to regain top marks and he absolutely kept the Spaniards on the edge of their seats. The final on another hand, was an absolute surprise although I kinda knew Roger would bag it when Rafa missed the first backhand.

I'm excited to see whether this win would help boost Roger's game after a seven-month drought, or if it would only help Rafa come back stronger and claim the French cup. To be honest, I don't care who wins in Paris (as long as it's not Andy!) but I pray that Roger gets Wimbledon. That has got to be the best record set ever (his 6th Wimby and 14th Grand Slam).
