Stupidity.
I'm off to Germany tomorrow to visit a friend. I'm starting the journey tonight though to assure my mum that I'll get to the airport safely. Otherwise I'd have to take a coach to the airport at 0330 because my flight leaves at 0700. I'm not looking forward to spending half a night in an airport.
I helped first-years with their homework today and I realised that I made a basic mistake 10 minutes after the class ended. I told some students something wrong about indices. Of all things! I'm really stupid. Of course I couldn't find the students I told this erroneous hint to since the class had already ended, so now I'm just hoping they'll realise that I made a mistake. And I'll have to apologise to them next week.
I bought new shoes! They are nice. They're hiking boots so they'll keep my feet properly cushioned, and give support for my ankle. I'm going to wear them to Germany.
