(no subject)
So, went to that fabric sale fund-raiser thing today. I spent $38, which was twice what I had planned. But $25 of that was a sewing machine. A SEWING MACHINE. And not just the machine, it has a case and a couple instruction books a bobbins and foots and a pile of accessories that I have no idea what they're for. It's really old, all metal, all mechanical, none of that plastic/digital crap. I haven't tried it out yet, so I guess it's conceivable that the thing doesn't work. But who would donate a sewing machine with all its accessories if it didn't work? There was a sign on it that said 'working, but may need oiling.' So. Uh. I HAVE A SEWING MACHINE! And it's all mine! And it's an old fashion one! I had pretty much given up on the hope that I would be able to get an old fashion sewing machine, but here it is. FOR $25!!!
