peace in some way.

April 6-Chinese All Souls Day-Honor your ancestors at your altar today.

April 7-Blajini, Rumanian Feast of the Kindly Spirits-Invite them in to
your home today to help protect it/keep it safe. Leave them food.

April 8-Kambutse, Japanese Flower festival-Give a flower to a friend.

April 9-Hockite, English Celebration of women Warriors-Honor Amazons and
invoke their deities. Watch an episode of Xena.

April 10-Day of Bau, Babylonian Mother of the Earth-Associate with the
sky and light, honor Her at dawn and mid-day.

April 11-Day of Anahit, Armenian Moon and love Goddess-Adorn your body
lovingly today.

April 12-Day of Dedication to Ceres-Goddess of vegetative growth. Bless
seeds for planting.

April 13-Japanese Day of Sacred Marriage-Celebrate your own sacred
marriage with your love or yourself tonight.

April 14-National Dolphin Day-also festival of Maryamma, Hindu Sea
Goddess-Put dolphin pictures/statues on your altar today along with some
salt water. Be playful.

April 15-Roman Festival for the Earth Mother-Plant some of the seeds you
blessed on the 12th (outside or in pots).

April 16-Feast of Tsan Nu, goddess of Silkworms-Wear something made of
silk today.

April 17-Day Dedicated to Rain Goddesses-Do rain magic.

April 18-Rava-Navami, Hindu Festival of Rama and Sita-Celebrate the
divinity found in love shared.

April 19-Balinese Women’s Fertility Celebration-Celebrate you’re the way
in which you are fertile/creative.

April 20-Day Dedicated to Horned Goddesses-Honor your favorite
appropriately.

April 21-Part of World Week for Animals in Laboratories-Do Magic to end
animal suffering.

April 22-Earth Day-Partake in local festivities. Do your recycling.
Adopt a new green practice at home.

April 23-Festival of Venus of the Vine-Celebrate with your favorite
sensuous beverage.

April 24-Children’s Day in Iceland-Celebrate with your own children or
let the child within come out and play.

April 25-The Robigalia of Rome-Honors Robigo, Goddess of corn and
harvest. Offer Her some form of grain on you altar.

April 26-Ceremony to Yemaya-Goddess of the sea and dreaming. Burn an
incense which encourages psychic experiences on your altar. Invoke
Yemaya and ask for psychic dreams.

April 27-Floralia, Roman Festival of Flora-Goddess of prostitutes. She
was secretly known as “Mother of Rome.” Celebrate your knowledge of Her
sexual secrets.

April 28-Birthday of Artemis-Spend the day alone in the woods or with
women only.

April 29-Earth-Honoring Plowing Ceremony in Thailand-Prepare yourself
for the Beltane revels via a purification ceremony, envisioning yourself
as fertile ground.

April 30-Beltane Eve/Walpurgis nacht (Night of the Witches)-Celebrate in
your own witchy way.

May 1-Beltane-Bathe your eyes in morning dew to get a glimpse of your
true love; celebrate as usual.

May 2-Fire Festival of Bona Dea-The “good Goddess” was worshiped in
secret women’s rites led by Vestal Priestesses. Be creative.

May 3-Feast of Our Lady of Czestochowa, Poland-Feast day honoring Mary
as the Great Mother and Her role in fertility.

May 4-Irish holiday honoring sacred wells-Put some fresh spring water on
your altar today. Drink some as a prelude to any healing work or for
trance induction prior to Otherworld journeying.

May 5-Guatemalan Rain Ceremonies-Use the altar spring water from
yesterday to do some rain making magic. Sprinkle it on a garden, pour it
on a rock, and ask that the nurturing rains come at just the right time
to assure an abundant harvest for the world.
