Dangling our sweet goodbyes
Cherish every moment won
Know this will never be done.
With tainted hearts, our heart broken pasts
keep us quiet until we're going fast.
The green grass grows
where every momma's child knows,
tingly toes and reality existentialism
crash the brain and its tortured prism.
Taste the rain, its chemicals' balanced
two percent water and its truth is challenged.
Sweet remembrance of you
and truths take strange turns too.
My days are better now that you’ve come 'round my way
dream away every day.
Girls draw hearts on the bathroom stall
when they’re afraid that their heart will fall.
I haven’t brought my pen with me
and i don’t think they'll ever see my heart-stricken graffiti.
I think about why ill never fight.
You took me in and held me tight
as i came crashing down that day
“it’ll be alright” you always say.
Consoling my heart and your mind
I listen to every word you find.
And I love you for every word you say
and the little things every day.
Your smile frowns upon my tears
and I realize that for all these years,
you have been the one for me.

i'm a rhyming person and i think its wicked good.
line 5 is the only thing i would change - if you read it outloud then you see that its awkward with all the "hearts". otherwise it is well-written and very good. you've got talent =)
