After I saw a wondrous old repeat of Taggart last night from 1987, full of product placement, reasonable gore, and yes, Ford Orions as unmarked police cars; I decided on a random whim to see if there were any DVD boxsets.  Well, there were a few, but after browsing a few more random boxsets, I found out that ER Season 9 is out for R2 - on 29th of

Wow, S9 already! Might have to get that one, I did love it... But yeah, S14? Not interested.

I know, I couldn't quite believe it! There's usually about 2 sets a year but with a bigger gap; last year I remember S6 was March, S7 September. But this year, S8 July, s9 October. Pretty good going! Hopefully there will be some good deleted bits, or if not can just luxuriate in the good old stuff.

I'm gonna be interested to see how it all kicks off in a few weeks, and the next set of spoilers and what happens next.

They're out today, notmuch improvement. But apparently next ep is no 300, so I guess it will be make or break time?
