Happy 26th
Happy 26th to all the L/A fans out there. I did want to finish some fic tonight but I'm coming online for only a lil bit as I still have fucking migraine driving me up the wall. And seeing as I've been at work all day, my eyes need the rest. I'm not really sure why I'm even blogging!
I caught the NBA Europe final earlier on on FiveUS. Allen Iverson is just the greatest..he's such an inspiration to me, only 6ft and yet so effective going over the big guys, so determined and energised. Whenever I'm having a bad day at work I write "Only the strong survive" at the top of my notepad and soldier on. Anyway the Sixers as a whole looking good, I mean they beat the Suns with Amare and Nash, which is not easy, playing some nice defence, which is more than can be said for last season. Of couirse they were expected to beat CSKA but I hope they at least make the playoffs this season. Highlights of Bulls v Heat next week, excellent.
I've also been watching the NFL highlights..and I saw that comeback from the Bears against Arizona, that was pretty good. It's only through gaming I learned the rules to American football and I really, really enjoy it now.
Have been so busy at work this week, I'm just looking forward to spending the weekend in bed methinks. Or perhaps I'll start looking at Christmas presents if we go shopping, my Nan wants pans that you can get from Lakeside, maybe I'll get to go there.
